A Little About
​Myself.

​My name is Summer Sheehan.  This is my first year teaching Kindergarten at Marion Elementary.  Before teaching Kindergarten, I was a Pre-K teacher for Cleveland County Schools for five years.  I have a passion for teaching and each and every one of my students hold a very special place in my heart. 

I am a mother to three beautiful girls; Hailey, Ivy Kate, and Oakley Grace. I am married to my best friend, Tommy, LT. of Police for Boiling Springs Police Department.  We live in Shelby and enjoy spending time together as a family.

Discipline Plan for Our Classroom
Children will be able to earn points on Class Dojo.  Class Dojo can be viewed online and you can use an app for your phone to view how your child’s behavior is for the day.  If your child chooses to not follow School and Classroom Expectations, then they may lose points.  If your child chooses to follow School and Classroom Expectations, then they will earn points to be redeemed for various rewards.

Information For Parents

Communication Folder
Please be sure to check the communication folder every night.  This folder contains important information about your child's behavior, upcoming dates, and homework. 

Homework
Homework will be given out each night with the exception of Friday.  Homework reinforces skills we are working on in the classroom.

Transportation
​Please send a note or enter transportation changes on Pickup Patrol.  To enter a change in transportation for your child you can go to www.pickuppatrol.net.
